The 7th festival-contest of child and youth creative groups “Silver Dolphin” has come to an end.
The formal opening of the 7th festival/contest of child and youth creative groups “Silver Dolphin” took place at the luxurious Potidea Palace Hotel in Chalkidiki, on 26 June, at 21:15,
The closing gala concert of the 7th annual festival “Silver Dolphin” took place at the Municipal Park of Ampelokipi (Thessaloniki) on 30 June 2012.
The festival “Silver Dolphin” attracts more and more interest every year from tourists as well as local residents, who enjoy the talent, skills and young energy of the Russian singers and dancers.
This year the guests of the festival included the soloist of the State Academic “Bolshoi” Theater of Russia Irina Semirechenskaya who performed the Russian dance from the ballet “Swan Lake”, and the Greek choreographic group DanceStudio “Pirueta” (Thessaloniki) who presented the dance composition “Traveling around the world”.
Talented dance and vocal groups as well as individual performers from such big Russian cities as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Blagoveschensk and Naro-Fominsk took place in the festival.
According to tradition, the tour operator for Greece company MOUZENIDIS TRAVEL was the organizer of the festival, in cooperation with the organizing committee of the festival “Silver Dolphin” of Russia, supported by the center for the study and development of the Greek culture “Black Sea”.
The company MOUZENIDIS TRAVEL congratulated all the participants of the festival and awarded them with diplomas for the contribution to the development and popularization of child and youth creative activity and its presentation to the international viewer, and with memorable souvenirs.
The grand prix was awarded to two winners: the variety-choreographic ensemble “Buratino” from Moscow (head – Postnova Elena, choreographer – Odintsova Svetlana), and the exemplary child choreographic ensemble “Confetti” from Blagoveschensk (head – Shlapakova Marina).
Every performance was a real festivity, the triumph of youth, energy and art. For the young performers, the festival “Silver Dolphin” became not just a contest but, in the first place, a unique experience of meeting the international viewer, exchanging artistic achievements, as well as familiarization with the historical and cultural places of interest of the wonderful Greece.
We are thanking all the participants and are looking forward to the new festivals in Greece in 2013!
